California’s Model of Utilizing Solar Energy
->
No other US state could demonstrate the use of solar power cells than California. As a matter of fact, no other place on Earth is yet to parallel California’s aggressive initiative to push the use of photovoltaic cells in energy generation.
California is among the hottest states in North America. During summers, climate is scorching hot and there is a period of usual power shortages or blackouts. California is known for having the highest utility costs simply because there is a strong demand against the backdrop of dwindling energy sources.
Thus, the state government has been encouraging households to individually and independently acquire rooftop solar systems that would help households generate electricity for their own use.
The state government has been offering a tax rebate of up to $15,000 plus other federal tax credits to households that would generate own electricity through installation of photovoltaic cells.
Such initiatives are seen to aggressively promote solar power use. Now, it is no surprising that more and more households are following suits to use rooftop solar systems for power generation.
Utility firms are even offering to buy the excessive electricity to be generated by the solar cells. Isn’t that nice?

Not only is this are the tax credits good for the consumer, but the overall economic impact on state beneficial. It provides jobs in a growth industry that is making gains by leaps and bounds, and helping keep the environment cleaner. I think any alternative energy generation deserves a tax credit.
