One problem is that the oil companies are way too involved with solar tech. Does Anyone see a potential conflict with a breakthrough in efficiency or much lower costs of solar tech? Is it really in the interest of oil companies to have someone plug an entirely electric vehicle into an outlet pulling power exclusively from the sun? Although certainly some solar start ups are blowing smoke about big improvements in either cost or efficiency (or both). It seems that these improvements are being watered down to the point where solar remains mostly a niche tech.

I'm ready for the breakout as opposed to the drip drip drip.

Solar tech is currently being slowed by the status quo. Somehow about 98% of the population doesn't see it or doesn't care.

The solar energy is well used for all green light methods. All green light bulbs can use solar energy as a resource.
